General Information

The Regional Medical Center at Memphis (The MED) is a 355-bed tertiary care facility.

The MedPlex Clinic is a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic system with the following specialties:

• Diagnostic Services
• HIV-AIDS
• Internal Medicine
• Neurology
• Obstetrics
• Ophthalmology
• Oral Surgery
• Orthopedics
• Pulmonary
• Renal
• Sickle Cell
• Surgery

The MED is a primary teaching site for the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy and many other healthcare providers. The facility provides general inpatient medical and surgical services along with its Centers of Excellence.
