The Wound Center is a regional referral center for wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO). The center serves as an outpatient clinic for the treatment of a wide range of acute, chronic and non-healing wounds including:
The Wound Center accepts referrals from the Divers Alert Network (DAN) for treating sport and commercial diving accident victims in the Mid-South.
The center also provides wound care and HBO services to inpatients within the hospital complex. Located on the ground floor of the Jesse Turner Tower, the center has a waiting room, six exam rooms, and a hyperbaric chamber that accommodates up to twelve patients at one time.
Intensive, continuous care is provided in the Wound Center utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach.
